Happy 10th Birthday McLaren

Happy 10th Birthday McLaren!

McLaren Software was formed in 2000. George Bush was elected President of the USA and 54K modems whistled and hissed as the world waited for the Y2K bug to bring stock markets to their knees.

A decade later George Bush has retired, the Y2K bug is a dim memory and broadband internet is now available on your phone.

Over the past decade McLaren has evolved from a provider of CAD integration tools to a leader in Asset Information Management Solutions.  Our solutions are used by owner operators across the world helping reduce plant downtime, accelerate capital projects and meet regulatory requirements.

Plant Turnarounds – Is Inaccurate Documentation Costing You Money?

Power Plant

Based on a running poll over 91% of participants have indicated Plant Turnarounds overrun by over 5%  due to inaccurate documentation.

For an oil refinery processing 45,000 bpd (barrels per day) the value of lost production on a 20 day turnaround would equal $3.2m lost revenue based on current oil prices! McLaren solutions help manage documents and business processes throughout the lifecycle of an asset including plant shutdowns. Contact us to help build your business case.
