IDOX plc Acquires McLaren Software

We are pleased to announce that IDOX plc (www.idoxgroup.com) a leading developer and supplier of software and services to UK Local Government has completed the acquisition of McLaren Software. McLaren will operate as a subsidiary of the IDOX Group with access to wide range of technology and financial resources.

The acquisition and investment by IDOX will enable McLaren to broaden the range of asset life cycle document management & control applications and our international sales and customer support services.

Enterprise Engineer recognized for its support of leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms will be enhanced in 2011 with new modules and a range of cloud based, mobile access and business analytics options. As a result Enterprise Engineer will be able to address a wider range of customers requirements, implementation options and geographies.

McLaren Partners with I.R.I.S to supply Enterprise Engineer Solutions to the Nordic Region.

McLaren are delighted to announce a partnership with I.R.I.S. one of Europe’s the leading ECM specialist providers. I.R.I.S. (www.ecm.irislink.com) to supply and support Enterprise Engineer in the Nordic countries. Initially concentrating on Norway and Denmark the partnership will extend to Finland and Sweden in 2011.

I.R.I.S selected McLaren Software as a partner after extensive market evaluation to expand their already successful line of business approach to providing ECM based solutions.

Windows 64bit, AutoCAD 2011, Microsoft Office 2010 certifications and more with Enterprise Engineer 3.6.2 SP5

Enterprise Engineer 3.6.2 SP5 is soon available and includes the following certifications:

64bit support for Microsoft Windows 7, Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2 and Office 2010
Support for AutoCAD 2011
Support for EMC-Documentum 6.6

Enterprise Engineer 3.6.2 SP4 and McLaren DocLoader 5.3 SP2 are now certified for EMC Documentum 6.6. Both applications have been accredited under the Designed for EMC program for the 6th year in a row.

The EMC program ensures that third party ISV applications are designed and developed in accordance with best-practice guidelines from EMC.
